Sakura Jingu is one of the few shrines in Japan that performs Shinto rituals such as fire walking and pot ringing.
The enshrined deities include Amaterasu Omikami, the sun goddess who rules Takamagahara, and other gods from Japanese mythology, and their blessings are diverse.
The general bowing procedure is two bows, two claps, and one bow, but at Sakura Jingu, it is two bows, four claps, and one bow.
